Solenoid microneedling, made for home.

The Ottilo System pairs a magnet-driven pen with a quiet desktop controller. The pen only runs while it touches the skin, you set the depth by hand, and every order ships from the US.

Why solenoid

Most home pens spin a small motor and use a cam to turn that rotation into up-and-down movement. The Ottilo pen uses a coil and a magnetic plunger instead. Each stroke is a straight, even tap, and the pen stays light because the electronics live in the controller.

Fixed 2.5 mm stroke. Depth set from 0.25 to 2.5 mm.

The Ottilo controller screen and speed dial

The controller

One dial does almost everything. Turn it up from zero and the system is ready; turn it back and it clicks off. The colour screen shows the speed level, the depth you have set, the cartridge type and a session timer.

8 speed levels. Timer presets of 5, 10 and 15 minutes.

Clean the skin and fit a new sealed cartridge to the pen.

  2. Set the depth

Turn the ring near the tip to the depth you want.
